As the European Union and Morocco look to transition away from hydrocarbon dependence, they have convened their first forum to discuss the regulatory framework for green hydrogen. The forum was attended by Head of EU Cooperation in Morocco Jean-Chirstophe Filori, Head of Energy, Climate and Environment Policies Gaëtan Ducroux, and Director of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Abderaouf Benabou, and highlighted “the potential for Morocco to emerge as a future energy supplier and strategic enclave for Europe.”
