Yaël Braun-Pivet, the President of the National Assembly of the French Republic, who is on an official visit to Rabat, said that Morocco and France are experiencing “a new golden age” in their bilateral relations, emphasizing that Morocco is undergoing a dynamic phase in which France can also find its place. Braun-Pivet held discussions with Morocco’s Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, and stated afterwards: “we are seeing the extent to which there is today in Morocco a dynamic where France can play a role, particularly through its companies and expertise.” She also commented on the rapport established between Rabat and Paris during President Emmanuel Macron’s state visit to Morocco, stressing that “it must be realized at all levels.”
