Morocco has been ranked among the safest countries in the world, according to the 2024 Global #Terrorism Index (GTI). The Kingdom improved its safety ranking from 83rd in 2023 to 89th in 2024. Lower rankings in the GTI indicate a lower risk of terrorism. The report placed five Arab countries, including Morocco and Mauritania, along with Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman, at the forefront scoring zero, indicating they are among the safest countries in the world with no terrorist threats.
