Morocco’s Director General of National Security and the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, met with Salman Chaudhry, Acting Inspector General of Police at Pakistan's Ministry of the Interior, concerning the ongoing cooperation and continued need to bolster security efforts between Morocco and Pakistan. The two officials discussed the growing terrorist threats facing both countries, particularly given their proximity to regions where groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS remain active. Another key area was the issue of human trafficking and illegal migration, particularly following a recent tragedy off the coast of Dakhla, where a boat carrying Pakistani migrants capsized resulting in multiple deaths.
