Morocco plans to increase its military spending by 6% in 2025, boosting its defence budget to MAD133 billion ($13.4 billion), up from MAD124 billion this year. The proposed budget, part of the 2025 Finance Law, was presented by Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah Alaoui to parliament. The additional funds will support modernizing the Royal Armed Forces’ equipment and developing Morocco’s local defence industry, including plans to become a production hub for defence mobility equipment.
