Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita presented 27 recently signed international agreements to the national parliament, spanning maritime and air transport, defense, justice, and customs cooperation. These deals aim to transform Guerguerat into a vital commercial hub, bolstered by partnerships with Sahel and African nations, particularly Mauritania. Bourita emphasized plans to establish Guerguerat as a key road junction, with ongoing efforts to expand agreements enhancing its global role. The agreements also reinforce Morocco’s presence in Western Sahara, with Laayoune and Dakhla serving as regional anchors.
