A recent report by Business Insider Africa places Morocco in the third spot on its quality of life index among African nations, highlighting the Kingdom's continued strong performance in regional rankings.
South Africa secured the top position, followed by Tunisia in second place. The assessment evaluates various factors, including housing affordability, purchasing power, pollution levels, safety, healthcare quality, cost of living, commute times, and climate conditions. A higher score on the index reflects a better quality of life.
Morocco achieved a score of 110.8, marking a slight decline from its number two ranking last year. Despite this, the Kingdom remains a consistent performer in quality of life studies across the continent.
Notably, US News and World Report ranked Morocco as number one in Africa and 45th globally.
Kenya and Egypt came after Morocco with respective scores of 101.7 and 85.3.
