Morocco’s National Airports Office has unveiled plans for a major “HUB” with the construction of a new airport terminal at Casablanca ‘s Mohammed V Airport, It is part of Morocco’s “Airports 2030” strategy and aims to increase capacity at Casablanca to 20 million passengers a year. The new terminal will also be linked to the high-speed train line (LGV) connecting Kenitra and Marrakech. The unique design is expected to draw on inspiration from the natural forces of the Atlantic Ocean, reflecting architectural images of “strength and serenity”.
