Morocco-Spain Collaboration leads to drug seizure off Gran Canaria

Two individuals were arrested during a joint Moroccan and Spanish operation, that intercepted a smuggling attempt from Morocco off the coast of Gran Canaria. Acting on intelligence provided by the General Directorate of Surveillance of the Moroccan territory (DGST), Spanish law enforcement agencies were able to seize 2,345 kilograms of marijuana, the rubber dinghy, outboard motors, satellite phone, and GPS devices.
