The African Development Bank plans to loan Morocco €650 million for 2030 World Cup transport projects, its President Akinwumi Adesina said Thursday. The funds, pending board approval, will upgrade rail and airport infrastructure. Morocco, co-hosting with Spain and Portugal, will be the second African nation to host after South Africa in 2010. The government plans a new stadium in Benslimane near Casablanca and upgrades to six others as part of broader air, road, and rail enhancements.
