Morocco’s Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amina El Fallah Seghrouchni, has said that the Kingdom will soon launch 5G internet service as part of preparations to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Speaking during a session at the House of Representatives, Seghrouchni outlined plans to extend 5G coverage to 25% of the population by 2026, with a target of reaching 70% by 2030.
