Morocco’s aviation sector now ranks fifth globally, becoming the leading aviation manufacturer in Africa. Speaking to the Moroccan News Agency, Afaf Saïdi, Director of Aviation, Railway, Naval Industries and Renewable Energies at the Ministry of Industry and Trade said “Morocco has become the main source of equipment and spare parts at the African level after just twenty years of launching its first initiative in this sector. This exceptional performance not only demonstrates the resilience of our national aviation industry but also reflects its ability to adapt to global market momentum.” The aviation sector now employs 21,000 workers across 142 companies in Morocco.
