Morocco's Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ), in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), has arrested three individuals suspected of ties to ISIS. The detainees, aged 18 to 39, were apprehended during separate raids in Fez, Fnideq, and the rural commune of Ouled Ghanem in El Jadida Province.
Searches carried out at the homes of the suspects led to the seizure of electronic media, as well as knifes, a “Daesh” emblem drawn on a piece of wood, and manuscripts describe of being ‘of an extremist nature’.
