According to Morocco’s Ministry of Economy and Finance budget deficit for the first eight months of 2024 stood at around $3.9 billion, an improvement from the $4 billion recorded during the same period last year. The ministry said that the narrowing of the deficit was due to a stronger increase in revenues, which rose by 11.9% to $22.2 billion, compared to a 7.9% rise in expenditures, which hit $20.6 billion.
