Marsa Maroc reported a net profit of over $130 million in 2024, an increase of 49% over the previous year. Morocco’s main port operator said it plans expansion of two more terminals in the port of Nador West Med, in collaboration with MSC Group and CMA CGM, the world’s first and third most important shipowners. These terminals will start operating in 2027, and together with the activity of the port of Tangier Med, which is the leading port in Africa and the second in the Arab world after Dubai in terms of container traffic, Morocco’s port profile continues to rise.
