Morocco's tourism revenues hit $4.9 billion by June

Morocco's tourism revenues reached MAD 49 billion ($4.9 billion) in the first half of 2024, up 2.3% from MAD 47.9 billion ($4.8 billion) during the same period in 2023, according to data from the Office of Exchange. 

The report revealed a 13.9% rise in tourist arrivals, with 7 million visitors recorded in the first six months of 2024.

Foreign tourists represented a rate of 54.2%, showing a 16.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
