Morocco’s tourism revenues hit $6.12 billion in foreign currency

According to new data from Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism, tourism revenue in foreign currency reached $6.12 billion during the first seven months of 2024. Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor said that the revenue reflects a growth of 3.5% compared to the same period last year.  Ammor also added that tourist arrivals reached 4.4 million people between July and August, marking a 21% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
