U.S. computer software company Oracle has decided to expand its R&D capabilities in Morocco and hire close to 1,000 IT professionals in the region. The investment will accelerate the development of the IT giant’s technologies to help solve customer challenges globally. Ghita Mezzour, Minister in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform of the Government of Morocco, signed an agreement with Safra Catz, CEO of Oracle, late last week to formalize the partnership and commitment to innovation in Morocco.
