The Pentagon has approved a deal worth $250 million for the sale of 40 AGM-154C Joint Standoff Weapons (JSOW) missiles to Morocco. The AGM-154C missile, manufactured by Raytheon, is one of the world’s most advanced glide bomb systems. It allows air forces to strike protected targets with high accuracy; Morocco becomes the first African country to acquire precision missiles of this type.
