A Russian warship equipped with advanced hypersonic missiles docked at Algeria's Port of Oran Friday for a "business call", Reuters reports citing a statement from the Russian Navy. Moscow and Algiers have maintained strong defense ties since the Soviet era, continuing their cooperation amidst Russia's ongoing military activities in Ukraine. The Admiral Gorshkov, armed with Zircon missiles, is on a long-distance voyage that has seen it cross the Atlantic, and make port calls in Cuba and Venezuela- traditional Russian allies.
