French prosecutors are set to outline their sentencing recommendations against ex-President Nicolas Sarkozy, beginning Tuesday. Sarkozy, 70, charged with corruption and illegal financing of his 2007 campaign, allegedly entered a funding pact with Libya's Muammar Gaddafi. The trial, also implicating three former ministers, has spanned ten weeks. Testimony included claims from Gaddafi's son, Saif al-Islam, about being coerced to alter his statements. Final prosecution recommendations are expected by Thursday evening.
