Senegalese local media has confirmed the arrest of Senegalese migrants in Tunisia and their deportation to Libya and Algeria.
A boat carrying 41 Senegalese capsized off the coast of Sfax, Tunisia, on May 15, killing seven of them.
The Tunisian Navy arrested the survivors and then deported them to the borders of Algeria and Libya, while 11 of them were able to reach the Niger Desert, to return to Senegal, according to Senegalese local media.
