Ethiopia and Somalia attempted to salvage their fragile detente following a deadly clash along their border in Jubaland on Monday. Somalia condemned the actions of Ethiopian forces, while Ethiopia denied wrongdoing, citing unnamed third parties aiming to destabilize the Horn of Africa.
