Spanish National Police, in collaboration with Morocco’s General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), arrested a man in Teulada, Alicante, suspected of being a member of the terrorist organization Daesh.
The suspect faces charges of integrating a terrorist organization, recruitment, indoctrination, and glorification of terrorism, according to a statement from the Spanish police.
The investigation revealed that he was producing and disseminating pro-ISIS propaganda, creating his own jihadist materials for social media. Authorities reported his contact with other jihadist terrorism suspects in Spain, Morocco, and conflict zones in Syria and Iraq.
