Spain, Portugal, and Morocco announce joint bid to host the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup

Spain, Portugal, and Morocco have announced plans to submit a joint bid to host the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The bid follows the successful candidacy for the 2030 Men’s World Cup, in which all three countries are co-hosting, alongside opening matches to be played in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay. FIFA are set to decide the host countries for both the 2031- and 2035-Women’s World Cups during next year’s 76th Congress, with member associations being given until May 5, 2025, to submit final bids.
