Sudan army, paramilitary blacklisted for harming children in war, says UN report

The UN has added Sudan's army and rival paramilitary Rapid Support Forces to its blacklist for harming children in conflict, citing a "shocking" increase in such violations globally, according to a UN report seen by AP.

Sudan has seen "a staggering 480 percent increase in grave violations against children" against children from 2022 to 2023, the report said.
