UN experts on Thursday accused both sides in Sudan's civil war of employing "starvation tactics" against 25 million civilians, with 97% of the population facing "severe hunger levels." "Never in modern history have so many faced starvation as in Sudan today," said a group of independent experts. The experts, including special rapporteurs on food and water rights, urged the RSF and SAF to "immediately stop obstructing aid delivery" in a joint statement.
