Libya deports migrants to Niger across land border
According to Chinese news outlet Xinhua, Libya has deported a group of migrants to Niger by land on Wednesday, as
Tanger Med Port in Morocco has made a historic leap into the top 20 busiest global container ports, marking the first African port to achieve such a rank.
It surpassed its 2027 projections by entering the list in 2023, according to maritime analysis firm Alphaliner.
Tanger Med Port outperformed New York and Hamburg, now positioned just below Rotterdam and Antwerp/Bruges.
Meanwhile, the highest-ranked Spanish ports, Valencia and Piraeus, stood at 31st and 32nd, highlighting Tanger Med's significant achievement.
