First war-time aid convoy reaches besieged south Khartoum
Civilians in a besieged area south of Sudan's war-torn capital received their first aid convoy this week since
Jailed Tunisian politician Ayachi Zammel who had challenged President Saied in recent elections, has received more prison time, according to his lawyer Abdessatar Messaoudi who was speaking to AFP. That would bring the total number of sentences against him to more than 30 years. Zammel's lawyer added that he currently faces 37 cases, all concerning the same accusation of fake endorsements. His campaign had called his arrest "political".
