Tunisia’s National Salvation Front urged a return to constitutional legitimacy, calling for the immediate release of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience. In a statement, the opposition coalition stressed rebuilding institutions based on separation of powers and upholding media independence. The Ennahda Movement echoed these demands, condemning arrests targeting activists, politicians, and journalists. Since President Kais Saied's 2021 measures, dozens have faced charges, sparking calls for national dialogue on reforms.
