Tunisia to collaborate with Libya, and Algeria to combat smuggling.

Tunisia is working with Libya and Algeria to develop a joint plan to curb smuggling and black-market trade by developing border areas, Tunisia’s Trade Minister Samir Obeid announced to parliament, according to the Libya Observer. The plan aims to integrate regions like Ben Guerdane in southwestern Tunisia near the border with Libya, into the Tunisia’s formal economy, creating jobs and reducing reliance on illicit trade, particularly among young people.
