Tunisian court allows prominent politician Daimi to run in presidential election

The Tunisian administrative court on Friday reinstated prominent politician Imed Daimi in the presidential race set for October 6, Daimi announced.  

Daimi is the third candidate restored to the contest after Abdellatif Mekki and Mondher Znaidi, who were initially disqualified by the Election Commission due to insufficient endorsements.
