Libya orders expulsion of aid groups over plot to change population demographics

Turkey's intelligence chief, Ibrahim Kalin, visited Libya on Thursday, meeting Prime Minister Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah and other officials as efforts intensify to resolve the political deadlock crippling the country’s oil exports. A Turkish security source confirmed the visit on Friday. Dbeibah leads Libya's UN-recognised Government of National Unity, backed by Turkey. The ongoing political impasse threatens to unravel four years of relative stability in the oil-rich nation, prompting renewed diplomatic efforts.
