U.S. Approves $825 Million Stinger Missile Sale to Morocco

The U.S. on Tuesday approved the potential sale of up to 600 Stinger anti-air missiles to Morocco in an $825 million deal aimed at boosting the country's air defenses. The State Department greenlit the sale, which Congress must still approve. The Pentagon said the missiles would help Morocco counter threats and modernize its military while improving interoperability with U.S. and allied forces. The deal includes related equipment and support services.
