In a telephone call Friday Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken discussed the strong and cooperative relationship between the two countries, while also highlighting the US’s appreciation of Morocco’s contribution to regional stability and leadership. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller shared a statement on the social media platform X, saying that Blinken “had a productive discussion with Moroccan Foreign Minister Bourita today. The U.S. is grateful to Morocco for their regional leadership.” Actual details of Blinken and Bourita’s conversation have yet to be disclosed.
