Israeli and Egyptian ceasefire negotiators are in talks about an electronic surveillance system to prevent Hamas smuggling weapons along the Egypt-Gaza borde, Reuters reported.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that any deal with Hamas must prevent weapons from being smuggled into Gaza from Egypt, “primarily by means of Israeli control of the Philadelphi Corridor and the Rafah Crossing.”
The plan includes installing sensors on the Egyptian side of the Philadelphi Corridor.
