Regions and Strategic Areas

Regions Seas and Strategic Areas organizes the physical spaces through which North African politics, security, trade, energy and migration interact. It covers regional systems such as the Maghreb and Sahel alongside maritime basins, desert corridors, chokepoints and major geographic formations. The editorial purpose is to explain cross-border connectivity and strategic geography without turning these spaces into substitutes for the country, city or infrastructure tags nested around them.
