Our Mission

Our positioning is: Regional intelligence - North Africa, the Maghreb and the Sahel, read as one strategic map.

Political decisions, energy systems, trade corridors, infrastructure, migration, security and business developments frequently cross national boundaries. Our role is to make those connections easier to understand and to distinguish the immediate event from the longer regional forces behind it.

Coverage Priorities

Politics and Diplomacy

Governments, institutions, elections, regional rivalries, diplomacy and political change. Coverage focuses on how political decisions affect institutions, relations between states and the broader strategic environment.

Economy, Business and Investment

Economic policy, companies, investment, industrial development, public finance and structural economic change. The emphasis is on developments with significance beyond a single corporate announcement or short-term market event.

Energy and Critical Minerals

Oil, gas, renewable energy, electricity, nuclear energy where relevant, mining, critical minerals and strategic supply relationships. Coverage examines both individual projects and their place within regional infrastructure, trade and geopolitical relationships.

Security and Defence

Defence policy, armed groups, border security, military developments and North Africa's relationship with Sahel instability. Because claims in this area may be disputed or politically motivated, attribution and context are particularly important.

Migration and Borders

Migration routes, border policy, enforcement, agreements and regional relationships with Europe. Coverage aims to distinguish verified policy developments from political rhetoric and unsupported claims.

Infrastructure, Trade and Logistics

Ports, roads, railways, airports, pipelines, strategic corridors and trade infrastructure. These subjects are covered as economic assets and as part of the regional systems through which goods, energy, capital and influence move.

Climate and Water
