The ruling Insaf party in Mauritania has announced that its recent series of political tours across five wilayas-Inchiri, Adrar, Tagant, Assaba, and Hodh Chargui-have achieved what it describes as a "major success." The party claims these missions, which included political and organisational meetings, regional festivals, and direct engagement with party officials, elected representatives, cadres, and grassroots activists, have reinforced its presence and responsiveness at the local level.
According to a statement released after a meeting between party president Mohamed Ould Bilal Messaoud and the permanent secretaries responsible for the wilayas, the tours covered a wide range of localities, including Akjoujt and Benichab in Inchiri; Atar, Chinguetti, Ouadane, and Aoujeft in Adrar; Tidjikja, Tichit, and Moudjéria in Tagant; Kiffa, Kankossa, Guérou, Boumdeid, and Barkéol in Assaba; and Nema, Walata, N'Beïket, Lahouach, Bassiknou, Adel Begrou, Amourj, Djiguenni, and Timbédra in Hodh Chargui.

The party leadership reviewed detailed reports from the field visits, which included observations, concerns, and proposals raised by local stakeholders.
