The planned centre will offer ready-to-use rooms for healthcare and wellness practitioners. IWG signed 10 new locations in Egypt in the first half of 2026 and is targeting 150 nationwide by 2030.
At Paramount Business Complex in Cairo, International Workplace Group will open Egypt's first Humanly healthcare and wellness workspace through a partnership with AGEC Developments. IWG will manage and operate the planned centre.
The rooms are intended for medical and therapy professionals, along with wellness and beauty practitioners. Fitness operators and rehabilitation specialists are also in scope. Humanly offers equipped, treatment-ready spaces that practitioners can scale up or down as their needs change, without taking on the cost and administration of conventional premises. In its 14 October announcement, IWG said the model would help professionals establish and grow their practices without the cost and complexity of traditional premises.
Egypt is already a growing market for the group. IWG signed 10 new centres in the country in the first half of 2026 and is targeting 150 nationwide by 2030. Those figures refer to IWG's entire Egyptian network, not Humanly alone.
IWG introduced Humanly earlier in 2026 for practitioners seeking to build a practice without committing to conventional long-term property arrangements. The company says the facilities will be equipped and compliant, with room for users to adjust how much space they need.
IWG says the model removes property and administrative burdens, leaving practitioners more time to work with clients and build their businesses. Christian Schmitz, Global CEO of International Workplace Group PLC, said the Cairo centre would bring care closer to the communities practitioners serve. Youssef Naguib, Country Manager of IWG Egypt, called the launch a response to rising demand for equipped healthcare and wellness premises.
AGEC Chairman Eng. Ayman Louis Rafla said the Humanly deal extends the companies' existing work at Paramount, which also houses a Regus centre of about 1,500 square metres. The complex sits in the Sheraton Heliopolis area and is designed to connect Nasr Road with Heliopolis. AGEC describes Paramount as a mixed-use development for commercial and administrative activity, with medical space as well. Its total area approaches 20,000 square metres, and investments are valued at up to EGP 2 billion.
In a report on the project, Arqam News reported that construction was 100% complete and Paramount had obtained LEED V4 certification. The development's medical and commercial spaces sit alongside its administrative facilities.
The companies have not disclosed the Humanly centre's size or an opening date. It is planned as the brand's first Egyptian location.
IWG's expansion in Egypt is part of a wider push. The company signed a record 728 locations globally in the first half of 2026, bringing its signed network to more than 6,000 locations across more than 120 countries. IWG says 95% of those locations are being delivered through managed partnership agreements. Under that model, property owners operate with IWG rather than requiring the group to fund every site directly.
Another healthcare expansion agreement was signed on October 12, 2026, by the Egypt Healthcare Authority and Limitless Care. The healthcare network agreement covers cooperation on patient access and staff training.
IWG has not said when practitioners will begin using the Paramount centre.
